The Household Water Magnet is a highly powerful dual clamp magnet which is fitted directly to household water pipes to soften water and eliminate scale.
High performance, concentrated magnetic energy is focused into the water pipe and transmitted to the water.
Magnetised water molecules take on a high positive potential (compared to the net negative charge of un-magnetised water), forcing the randomly spinning H2O molecules to compact into a locked magnetic configuration. This lack of movement of water molecules reduces water tension, and the magnetised water takes on a softer, silky feel, and absorbs other minerals more readily.
Treatment of hard water with the Household Water Magnet conditions the hard water minerals, Ca and Mg, to take on more water, and prevents their crystallisation into Calcium and Magnesium Carbonates (solids). It also reverses the existing scale build-up on pipe work, hot water cylinder, baths and showers etc. by re-dissolving it back into the water.

Installation
Water Magnets are typically clamped either side of the water pipe line entering the house.
Domestic hot water cylinders exacerbate the hard water condition, and physical heating of cold water to hot can also reduce the induced magnetic effect. A single additional booster clamp is therefore added to the hot water cylinder (hot outlet) to restore the full magnetic effect, and avoid scale build up and scum deposition in the hot water line.
